Mail for Macintosh OSX
Go to the Mail menu and select Preferences....
Click on Create Account.
Complete the following fields.
Account Type dropdown menu - Select "POP Account".
Description - Enter a name for the mailbox.
Email Address - Enter your email address.
Full Name - Enter the name that people will see when they receive a message from you.
Host Name - Enter your incoming mail server, mail.yoursitedomain.com.
Username - Enter the username you entered when you created the email account in your VDS Manager.
| Enter "username%yoursitedomain.com" as your username. |
Password - Enter the password for the account
SMTP Host - Enter your ISP's outgoing mail (SMTP) server.
| Make sure that the "Use authentication when sending mail" option is NOT selected. |
Click OK.
